Master Bedroom Closet

Itching to change something in the new house, I started by tackling the master closet. It was dingy and dull and I really wanted to make it look clean before hanging my clothes.

The closet has a large built in dresser - Stace's favorite part. He thought my ten small drawer dresser was ridiculous.

The closet rod positioned hanging clothes almost in the middle of the already narrow room which completely blocked the small window at the end. I removed the rod fasteners, replaced them with bike hooks, and lowered the entire rod about 6 inches which made the window visible and now allows light to enter the room.

There was also a small painted board that ran down the length of the closet that appeared to have no purpose. Along with two other small rods that came across the width of the closet near the window. Thankfully, Stace taught me about leverage and I was able to remove them.

It is amazing what a can of paint can do!

Stace even has a place for his shoes too!
